Teachable Moments is a family daycare located in New Castle, DE. We specialize in childcare and education for infants through kindergarten. In addition, we provide after school care for elementary school children including homework help. 

 

Your child will receive close attention and the best education from a teacher of over 15 years with a Master of Science in Education, certifications in health and safety, CPR, First Aid, Medication Administration, positive behavior management and experience with various curricula using a multi-sensory approach to teaching. Our goal is to provide a supportive, loving environment for your child that encourages social, emotional, intellectual, and physical development. 

 

We are on a quiet street with a park-like setting, ample parking, and easy access to Route 13. We have a fully fenced large backyard, equipped with fun and safe playing equipment. We provide nutritious, well- balanced meals and snacks to your child. The daily schedule includes: arts and crafts, free and structured-play, music, dance, educational projects, gross motor and fine motor, sensory activities, and much more. 

Our family daycare is state certified, licensed, and meets all the requirements established by the Office of Child Care Licensing in Delaware. It is our mission to provide a nurturing and fun environment full of Teachable Moments!
